Arial exhibition poster

The purpose of this poster is to promote a fictional exhibition. It is about the Arial font and would be located at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.

The "Arial" typeface is known to be a copy of "Helvetica", it's not very appreciated by designers. The challenge was to make an exhibition on it attractive.

I wanted to exploit the fact that this typeface appeared for the first time on the Windows 3.1 operating system. Today we can perceive this digital environment as ugly but familiar. So I took elements from the windows of that time. I added a background with a glitch effect to make the poster more contemporary and impactful than if it had been plain blue.
