Mary Poppins Poster
I designed a poster for the well-known classic Mary Poppins, using collage. This project has no commercial purpose.
I made several compositional attempts by pasting elements evoking the film.
Jean-Luc Bold font was added to the composition, using InDesign. I tried different layout styles for the title.
This logo can easily be applied to a variety of materials, such as merchandise that shows the club's membership.
The final poster is dynamic. The intersecting lines and the characters arrangement allow the eye to move around the image, while highlighting Mary Poppins. The cutting of the background into strips shows the magic of this classic, and evokes the moments of crossing worlds. Finally, the collage brings to the composition a childish aspect.
